We are pleased to announce that the “Task Force Smith” ROTC Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, 11 April 2015, at the Luke Air Force Base Falcon Dunes Golf Course located in Glendale, Arizona. Players will be limited to 90, and reservations will be accepted in the order in which they are received.
In addition to the being our Chapter’s biggest fund raiser to support our local soldiers, their families, veterans, and JROTC and ROTC cadets, the purpose of this event is to:
* Honor General Charles “Brad” Smith, a distinguished military officer of Korean War fame
* Sponsor an event that enhances the image of the US Army and AUSA
* Provide AUSA Chapter members and guests a day of fun and camaraderie, plus great golf!
Sign-in/registration for the Shotgun Four-Person Scramble is at 6:30 AM, with tee-off at 7:30 AM. There will be raffles and great prizes, plus cigars for sale, as well as, the player’s favorite “Magic Ball”. Round of golf, cart, range balls, and lunch is included with all entry fees.
Please consider being a Sponsor for $125 per tee box or green. This fee Includes appropriate signage designating the sponsor or company name, and recognition in the tournament’s program.
*Notes: (1) If you are signing up for a foursome plus hole sponsorship but don’t have all of your players yet, please pay in advance so that you save your places in the tournament! Once you know the names of your foursome, you can email their names to Ray Boucher, our Chapter Treasurer, at 8rboucher@gmail.com; he will make sure your team is on record. (2) If you know the names of your foursome please add them in the COMMENT box when you select your ticket. (3) If you select to Sponsor a Hole, please send your Company logo or photo (in JPG, GIF, PNG, etc. format) or what you want put on the sign to Ray at the email address above.
